Arizona Landscape at Night
I shot this during my road trip from Texas to Utah a few weeks ago, not long after I entered Arizona.
As I was driving along Scenic Reservation Route 59 in Northeast Arizona on my way to Monument Valley, I kept seeing scenes like this so I stopped and set up my equipment and did some long exposure night time landscape photography.
This was photographed at almost 4am in the middle of the night with a full moon lighting everything. I shot it with my Nikon D800E and 16-28mm Tokina lens all mounted on my 3 Legged Thing “Frank” carbon fiber tripod. That is my go-to setup for most of my landscape work.
